in past I was so attracted to learn About Semantic Web and wrote many some post about it but now no more posts!!!!. well, to be honest i still attracted 
but in other way ,mmmmm let me explain more : in last few months i read about Information Retrieval and its Models Like Vector Model, Extended Boolean,…….. and The Most Attractive one : Was The LOGICAL MODEL ,this model is still under researches and it’s Really the future of IR it talks about semantics appraoches and stronge data representation on witch we can apply resoning and many other important research areas and “Semantic Web” is one of those reseached areas .
we (me and my friends ) made a seminar about Logical Model of IR and we will publish it on the web may be in Knol (Google ’s Enclopedia), we will let you know as it happens.

Two days ago I watch a documentary called “The Secret”
I talks about the power of attraction we have and how we can use in a benefit way to make the life better and how our thoughts make up our lives.

Semantic web is all about capturing the meaning and to be more specific it;s about making the web page machine readable BUT the Question is How we can achieve that ?!!
A web page is composed of text and picture witch is easy to read by people BUT is machine unreadable ,the computer can’t understand that page content but the simple solution to this problem is to add a meta data to the page witch is invisible to people but understood by computer ,this meta describe the object in the page and their relationship in a way that the computer can understand.
As result the search engine and agent will use that meta data to simplify their works and that’s why the search result will be more accurate .
it worth knowing that semantic web is not a replacement of the current web but it is an extension to it ,To apply semantic web each site must add meta date to its pages.
One drawback to Semantic search is that results take a long time to get back to you.
To describe how to use the metadata I make a lot of search on the web and I got very complex and in-depth details but the best site I came across is “how stuff work” it’s the most simplest and good as start , visit here .
Note :you might find the above information so abstract but they are good as a basic guidelines

Google and Yahoo are now Absolutely Watching a big event in Web search field
This event is the birth of a new company ”Powerset ” that will change the way people act with search operation it is aiming to make the search available via phrases or questions throw applying NLP ” Natural Language Processing “.
As I read from here
this company is now working on Wikipedia ’s Articles and till now it has only indexed a quarter of Wikipedia’s 10 million articles. For sure IT will not stop here it’s just the beginning witch is in my opinion A STRONG beginning .
I DO Believe that Google And Yahoo Will not Keep Watching With out Making There Moves

Today is the day of yahoo, I ‘ve always thought about this day The day that one of the search engine giants (google & yahoo) will start to think about applying “Semantic Web” to it’s search engine…and it’s now happening yahoo .
at 14/March/2008 announced its adoption of some of the key standards of the “semantic web” and this could mean a challenge for Google .
actually I was disappointed because I Thought that Google will start that challenge but that doesn’t matter what’s only matter now for me that the semantic web will be applied to search engine.
the search operation will be more powerful by use of semantic web because the engine will try to capture the meaning…that’s key witch makes me so attracted to Learn more about semantic web,So today is beginning .
